my road was in between…
Zeitz MOCAA presents artworks developed by Cedar High School learners in workshops at its BMW Centre for Art Education. Taking inspiration from Julie Mehretu’s approach to mapping, participants explored connections between home, memory and everyday movement in Mitchell’s Plain. The exhibition brings these personal maps into dialogue with the city’s unequal geographies, offering a view of place through young people’s experiences.
