Living Archives: An African Community Day
The Haggerty Museum of Art is bringing African-diaspora cultural memory into the gallery through exhibition viewing, storytelling and a curatorial workshop. Developed with artists, educators and community groups, the afternoon also includes dance and food. The museum connects the programme to its fall exhibition theme, The Otherworld is Home, and welcomes the public to explore how artistic and everyday practices carry memory between generations.
