Culture Resource / Al-Mawred Al-Thaqafy
Culture Resource supports travel by artists and cultural workers from Arab countries, including eligible African countries and diaspora practitioners. Grants contribute to approved mobility expenses but do not cover all living costs. One end of the journey must be in the Arab region; applications are accepted year-round.
Who can apply
From an Arab country regardless of ethnicity/citizenship; residence inside or outside region. One travel endpoint must be in Arab region. Individual/group self-application, not host nomination. Under 18 needs guardian consent; prior Wijhat awardees wait 16 months.
What you receive
Up to EUR 7,000 approved actual costs; tickets, visas, accommodation, local transport and partial living costs. Payment 60–80% initially, remainder after financial/narrative reports.
Application fee
Application fee not stated on the checked official pages. Living costs are only partially supported.
Our listings help you make an informed decision, not guarantee eligibility, acceptance or funding. Check the organiser’s current terms before applying or paying. A source check confirms saved evidence, not every detail on the page.
Filters use reviewed information only. “No application fee” does not mean all participation costs are covered. International calls may still have specific restrictions.
